I adore the whimsy and the simplicity of the designs, the colourways and the attention to detail.

And the price ... they are affordable with a capital A ... so affordable ... it must be a labour of love.

And they are fresh and fun ... from now on all my baby making friends will get these as gifts, but I don't think the joy stops there. I can see them in conservatories, pale white interiors of all kinds, in a series down the hall .... wherever one might want a stylish way to add whimsy, with a touch or retro and the smallest, weeniest, only barely there dash of country. Just a nod really.

My name is Vivian. Viv for short. I create fabric artwork and prints for my Etsy store ish & chi. I live in Sydney, Australia in a cottage-style house and I'm in the process of making her a lovely, comfortable home for my husband, my son, my furball of a cat and I. I love decorating, fashion and eating (sometimes unhealthy food). Blogs inspire me as do interior magazines, fashion photography, the sixties, fabrics and Japanese art. I post about my decorating projects (good or bad) and my work. Sometimes I play dress-ups and sometimes I cook something edible.
