PASA’s 2012 Farming for the Future Conference

February 5, 2012 by Jason F. Deslauriers No Comments »

Winter is far from over here in Central PA but it’s been a very mild season so far and January’s coming to a close with temperatures near sixty degrees! So it’s becoming a lot easier to think about springtime and getting back out into the vegetable garden again.

I realize that these freak days of warm temps will be followed by more cold and possibly snow, but the other thing that has me thinking green is the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture’s (PASA) Conference that takes place this week.

Breaking Ground for a New and Sustainable Agriculture

This will mark the 21st meeting of the annual event and the theme this year is “Breaking Ground for a New Agriculture: Cultivating Versatility and Resilience.” Pre-Conference Tracks begin on Wednesday, February 1st and run through Thursday, February 2nd. The main co

Here are a few more from Jenni’s portfolio – I think the pendant lights with the wooden beads are amazing and wonder who makes them. Such a cleve

Greetings from London. I think I look a little fuzzy here. Perhaps it’s the camera man or most likely the jet-lag. Regardless, I’m always at the top of my game in London because, quite frankly, it’s my favorite English-speaking City in the world. I love that everything is so civilized and that I can wear good sweaters in the winter months-two things that don’t exist in Los Angeles. Of course, London is steeped in history and tradition, while also being hip and modern. I was im
